Initial consultation
15–30 minute phone call
We'll discuss your goals, project scope, budget expectations and timeline, and determine whether we're the right fit for your project, establishing clear expectations from the beginning.

Site visit
Typically within 1–2 weeks of initial consultation
We'll meet at your property to assess existing conditions, site access, project challenges and opportunities, fully understanding your vision and any factors that may impact design, budgeting or construction.

Design & pre-construction
Varies based on project complexity
This is where the project truly takes shape. We develop project goals, wish lists, design inspiration and material preferences together, coordinating with architects, designers, engineers and drafting professionals as needed. Our goal: solve as many problems as possible before construction begins.

Budget development
Ongoing throughout pre-construction
Once plans take shape, we develop a realistic project budget, prioritizing what matters most to you and discussing alternatives when adjustments are needed, maximizing value while maintaining quality and functionality.

Contract review & approval
Before construction begins, we'll review the project agreement together and answer any questions you have, so you understand the scope of work, allowances, schedule expectations and responsibilities before signing. Our contracts are professionally prepared and reviewed by legal counsel.

Construction
Our owner leads on site as your single point of contact, with a skilled crew executing the work. Clients receive weekly updates through the Buildertrend Client Portal, where schedules, progress photos, selections and change orders are stored in one organized location.

Final walkthrough & handover
As construction wraps up, we'll complete a detailed walkthrough together. You'll receive product manuals, warranty information, maintenance recommendations and care instructions, so you feel confident about your completed project.
Where you're involved
You're most involved early, in planning and selections, where your input shapes the whole project. Once the scope is set and the build is underway, we keep you informed without needing to chase you. Our process is tailored slightly depending on the service; the specifics are outlined on each service page.
